Can Java Programming be used in Programmable Matter
Submitted by aymen.digitalis on Tue, 2009-10-27 03:00Greetings group. I am extremely interested in the concept of programmable matter, or the idea that small particles can be programmed to behave in a certain way and to form unique solid shapes that serve a transient function. For instance, here is a video that I came across on YouTube that demonstrates the concept of programmable matter. Keep your eyes on the suitcase to understand what I am talking about:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icS9KU1bf6I
So my question is, do you think this is a possibility or just some futuristic whimsy? Could Java for instance be used one day as the core language of programmable matter?
Your ideas and discussion are welcome!
Thanks,
Aymen.

A lot of us heard the word cache and when you ask them about caching they give you a perfect answer but they don’t know how it is built, or on which criteria I should favor this caching framework over that one and so on, in this article we are going to talk about Caching, Caching Algorithms and caching frameworks and which is better than the other.
to read more about the article please visit(http://javalandscape.blogspot.com/2009/01/cachingcaching-algorithms-and-caching.html) , I would appreciate if you had the time to review it and send me your feedbacks (way of writing, the information in it, etc...)

Submitted by monalisa_smile on Fri, 2008-03-14 19:43I found it so mocking when I searched for ladies attending the JDC 2008 event from Mansoura and I found no body is going there that's horrible because the spirit is lost the spirit of people that are eager to know and to learn more and know what's going on in the IT and development world in specific...
