while we developing a module i was working in, a member of the team offered to use a code was developed in his previous company, we start to discuss how legal is this, and is it an ethical behavior, i thought the code i made in my old companies is their own, not mine even if it was my ideas, my imagination. this made me think about the whole idea of s/w developer ethics how should he behaves with his work. I hope you provide any references that can help us to understand this issue.
