Java Jobs

Hi, I have a single question, how can I find an entry position as a Java Developer if all the companies hire the experienced programmers and the seniors?, does anyone here have a suggestion regarding the way by which I can get a job as a Junior?.

Actually, I don't know
Actually, I don't know.
But some people have the same problem especially when they are coding with other language and wanna migrate to java. so they have experience let's say in C# which will be equal to your case.
One of those people is My friend and he has decided to join the ITI.
Some Companies Like EDS consider the ITI graduate as one who have one year of experience and hire him on this base this is one solution.
Another Solution, find company that don't care about Frameworks, technologies as much it cares with being smart and open minded in my Company we was doing interviews for java developers and ask them about solving problem with any language he chooses, I know not all companies have this visions.
Another Solution, you can go to company and work for it as trainee with small money or no money until you get good experience and then either be employeed in this company or move to another company.
I hope, this helps.

Well, I don't think that u must be always have experince to work as Java programmer.
Companies now becomming more interrested in fresh graduates, provided that they are good programmer in the oragin.
So, Just be a good programmer.

Be helpful
Hi Amr Kournay, Don't just start to type some words as if you are the wise man, if you have some names for the kind of companies you are talking about, list some of them, if not just check the threads written by other members and don't get yourself into something you don't know much about .
Don't be offensive
Hi Hero,
I think Amr said nothing wrong, if you are a good programmer, you will find a job. I believe also that Amr is a wise man, for this reason, he is one of the EGJUG board.
I have another point, you are posting a question, so you should accept answers, don't be offensive with people who are trying to answer your question.

Don't Criticize Someone
Hi Ahmed,
You need to go through Amr's answer again to feel the crticize in his own words, he knows nothing about me and about my programming skills too. If he had advised me with something like what Ali Abd-alaziz said in his post, I would have been thankful for him, but he didn't, instead of that, he just started to criticize someone he doesn't know. Why would i look for a job if i were not good enough?. I welcome any advice from any member, but when it comes to critcizing, I don't need it at all.
Mr. Hero,I've reviewed
Mr. Hero,
I've reviewed Amr's reply many times and I don't think he said "Hero you are a bad programmer" he was speaking generally. Being a good programmer means that you will find a job easily.
We don't know your skill but you have to have self esteem and then you will understand that Amr's answer is not offending you.
He was not criticizing you.
Man this is a community witch means you ask, other answer, you don't like their answer, you reply asking for clarifications not offending them.
Amr don't know you neither you know Amr. He is one of the best developers in Egypt so you need to listen to him and ask him more instead of offending him.
I'm not offending you I'm just clarifying community rules.

Now What?
Hi Mr. Michael,
I have been recieving several replies for this issue from members of the group, with the absence of the person who made the whole debate, the meaning of Amr's answer was very clear to any reasonable person who shall read it, and i don't know why Mr.Michael used "WE" in his answer, you want to stand for your friend, it's okay, I have no problem with that, but at the same time u have to be fair enough to say that his intentions weren't very true. Anyway, I am not willing to balme him for anything, and nothing happened, and good luck to all the members, I hope that this will put an end to this debate.
Good Luck
Yeah and good luck to you to in your job search. However I wonder, your profile refers that your are an IBMer ?!

Hi Amr,

I didn't miss any thing mr.
