Suggestions

Dear All, We would like to start JUG Meeting as it is one of the Main EGJUG Activities. We discuss many time the place and time of the meeting. Now we have the options to hold the meeting in FCI-CU. The questions are: * Do you have any other public places to make the meetings? * What is the best time to make the meetings( Friday, Saturday, Any other day). * What is the best time (Morning, Night..etc) * When we should meet (Every Week, Every month..etc) I want to know if there are any other opinions, then we will select the best choices and make a vote to choose. slamo 3likom i prefer these meeting to be monthly it is good to be hold in the FCI it would be good if we can manage it to be Saturday(weekend for FCI)

Alsalam alikom wa ra7mat allah wa barakatoh, It's so nice to have a meeting... acctually this will be my first meeting (don't know whether there were previous meetings or not) I'm in Ain-Shams Uni, so i don't think it'ld be easy for me to come to cairo Uni for the meeting.. i don't know if there r others in the same stiuation or not... Acctually, i don't have any other suitable place but i'll keep thinking in one. R there others in the same stiuation ? (Or is this meeting for FCICUers only ?) We didn't make any meeting for members yet. There were few meetings for Admins. Welcome in the next meeting. I am sure that there will be many users far from Cairo University, but the meeting time and date will allow all to come. i.e. we will meet in a vacation day, so you will have time to come. This Group is Egypt Java User Group.So All Egyptian are invited. We choose FCI-CU as a place because it is the only place we can manage to meet in. Alsalam alikom w ra7mat allah wa barkatoh For all FCISers (Ain Shams Uni), we don't have Saturday Holiday.. we have thursday holiday which i think is a busy day for FCI-CU, so is it good to be Friday ? Computer Science, Ain Shams Uni, Cairo, Egypt.

Dear Ahmed, Although Alazhar park is a fantastic place but unfortunatly it isn't formal place for meetings. I can't imagine How EGJUG to make a meeting there? I think it will be suitable iff I am not invited to the meeting:). Best Regards,Abeer

I'm with Micheal, I prefer to make the last 3 questions as polls as the choices is limited and known. Only, the first question reserve to be discussed and have to collect community opinions before making a poll for it. After 2 weeks we will close the vote. If 60%(for example) didn't vote, So we can guess that they are not interested in meetings. So, the other 40% are interested and the vote will be valid as they are representing 100% of the interested people :). -------------%%% __Ahmed Hashim__%%%
