Chat User & Database

Al salamo alikom. What will be much better, use the site database (User name & password) for chat login or create a new registration & login form for the chat? If we will use the site database it will be fine to have single signon and protected password, but this will need an integration with Drupal. If we will create a new registration & login form this will be fine as a contribution in this project, so other can make use of it. Any suggestions?
